Ingredients for Matcha Sablé Cookies:
Butter 105g, Icing Sugar 45g, Egg Yolk 1, Cake Flour 200g, Matcha Powder 10g
Method for making Matcha Sablé Cookies:
Step 1: Combine 105g of softened butter at room temperature with 45g of icing sugar.
Step 2: Add 1 egg yolk and mix well.
Step 3: Sift in a mixture of 200g cake flour and 10g matcha powder, and mix until a dough forms.
Step 4: Shape the dough into a cylinder, and freeze in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 5: Cut the dough into slices about 1cm thick, arrange on a baking tray, and bake in the oven at 165 degrees for 20 minutes with the upper and lower heat in the middle layer.
