Country Bread Recipe with Detailed Steps

Ingredients for Country Bread:
A High-gluten flour 25g A Cold water 14g A Yeast a pinch B High-gluten flour 100g B Whole wheat flour 5g B Salt 2g B Yeast 2g B Cold water 70g Air 0g


Method for making Country Bread:


Step 1: Mix the ingredients in part A to form a uniform dough.


Step 2: Place the dough from step 1 and the ingredients from part B into the bread machine.


Step 3: Use the bread machine to create a smooth and delicate dough, then let it rise for the first time (I prefer to cover it with a glass bowl).


Step 4: When the dough has doubled in size, gently release the air, shape the dough into a log, and place it in the oven for fermentation.


Step 5: When the dough is close to doubling in size again, remove it from the oven, preheat the oven to 210 degrees; sprinkle flour on the surface of the dough.


Step 6: After the oven has preheated (approximately 7 minutes), make a slash on the surface of the dough with a sharp knife.


Step 7: Place the dough in the oven to bake (reference time: 16 minutes).


Step 8: Once the bread is baked, remove it from the oven.
