Healthy and Delicious Red Date Cake Recipe

This red date cake is both healthy and delicious, featuring a rich date aroma. It is known for nourishing the blood and enhancing complexion. Be sure to make an ample amount, as it tends to run out quickly.


Required Ingredients:


– Pitted red dates: 150g


– Brown sugar: 80g


– Room-temperature eggs: 6


– Low-gluten flour: 150g


– Corn oil: 80g


– White sesame seeds: 5g



Instructions:


1. Prepare all necessary ingredients.


2. Cook the red dates with brown sugar and an appropriate amount of water for 5 minutes.


3. Transfer the mixture to a food processor and blend into a date paste. Allow it to cool.


4. Place the room-temperature eggs into the bowl of a stand mixer. Add the cooled date paste.


5. Using the whipping function at speed 11, whip for 2 minutes until the batter shows distinct trails that do not disappear easily when the whisk is lifted.


6. Sift in the low-gluten flour and fold gently until combined.


7. Mix in the corn oil until uniform.


8. Pour the cake batter into a 20×20 cm baking pan. Gently tap the pan to release air bubbles.


9. Sprinkle white sesame seeds on the surface.


10. Bake in a preheated oven at 140°C (284°F) for 40 minutes.
