Superman Bread Recipe with Detailed Steps

Ingredients for Superman Bread: Bread flour 200g, Cake flour 50g, Butter 30g, Red bean paste filling as needed, Raisins [for decoration] as needed, Instant dry yeast 3g, Granulated sugar 40g, Salt 3g, Milk powder 10g, Egg liquid 45g, Water 100g, Chocolate pen [for decoration] 1, Whole egg liquid [for decoration] as needed.
Method for making Superman Bread: Step 1: It’s simple to knead the dough using a bread machine. After weighing all the ingredients, first pour the bread flour and cake flour into the bread bucket, then place sugar in the bottom left corner and salt in the top right corner without mixing them. Next, dig a small hole in the center of the flour and add the yeast, remembering not to mix it with sugar and salt. Then add milk powder, egg liquid, and water. After everything is in place, select dough mixing 1, knead for about 10 minutes, and you can pull out a relatively thick film.

Step 2: Combine all the ingredients except for butter and knead until the dough surface is smooth and a relatively thick film can be pulled out.

Step 3: Add the butter cut into pieces to the dough, select dough mixing 2, and knead for about 20 minutes. The butter should be fully absorbed by the dough. After reaching the expansion stage, place it in a warm place for the basic fermentation.

Step 4: Since I had to pick up my child, I left the dough in the bucket after kneading. When I came back, I found that it had fermented quite well.

Step 5: After the basic fermentation is over, degas the dough and divide it into 6 pieces of 60g each, and round them.

Step 6: Also round the remaining dough, and let all of them rest for 15 minutes, so you will have 7 pieces of dough.

Step 7: Start preparing the red bean filling, which I bought ready-made from the supermarket.

Step 8: Flatten each of the 6 rested dough pieces with your hands, wrap in the red bean filling, and seal the mouth.

Step 9: Place the dough with the sealed mouth facing down into the baking tray and flatten with your hands.

Step 10: Roll out the remaining dough and use a cookie cutter to press out small round pieces.

Step 11: Take three round pieces and place them on the flattened dough and gently press with your hands to make them closely combined.

Step 12: Place the dough in a warm and humid place for the final fermentation. I fermented it in the oven, also placing a bowl of hot water, and it took about two hours. Then brush the dough surface with egg liquid and place two raisins as eyes.

Step 13: Place in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes with both top and bottom heat.

Step 14: After taking out of the oven, wait for a while, and once cooled, use a chocolate pen to draw eyebrows and a mouth on the bread, and the Superman Bread is complete.
